Ruby SNYDER

SNYDER, Ruby With sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Ruby Snyder on Friday, October 12, 2007 at the Didsbury Hospital. Ruby was born June 5, 1924 in Alderson, AB. She moved with her family to the Madden area in 1933, moved later to the area west of Carstairs, where she met Ed Snyder, her husband of sixty-one years. She is survived by her husband Ed; children, Judy Snyder (Jay Godfrey), daughter-in-law Debbie Snyder, Barb (John) Hinger and Gord (Mona) Snyder; as well as four grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Ruby was predeceased by her son Gary on March 23, 2007. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the Crossfield Community Centre, Crossfield, AB at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if desired donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society, 201, 222 - 58 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T2H 2S3 or the A.L.S.
