POPP, Carol Dawn 2008-05-20 Carol Dawn Popp, 72 years, of Thunder Bay, Ontario, formerly of Red Rock, Ontario passed away Sunday, May 18, 2008 at her residence. Carol‘s interests included singing in the church choir, baking, gardening and her cat. Predeceased by her father Wenzeslaus Popp, by her mother and step-father – Daisy and Arthur Vandal; she is survived by a sister Gloria Edgar of West Covina, California and a half-brother Eugene (& Roberta) Vandal of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Carol Popp will be held on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 2 P.M. at the Elliott Funeral Home Ltd., Nipigon with the Rev. M. Conliffe of St. George the Martyr Anglican Church in Thunder Bay officiating. Interment will be in Cliffside Cemetery, Nipigon. Friends so wishing may make donations to the charity of their choice.
