BROOKS, Fernal Sterling ( Fido to Friends) 1929-2008 - Passed away quietly at the Kingston General Hospital at 4:00 a.m on Friday May 23rd. Sadly missed by his wife Margaret of 55 years. Cherished father of his seven children, Ronald, Brian, Brenda, Doris, Cindy, Joey and Jeff. Lovingly remembered by his 19 Grandchildren, 21 Great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Predeceased by his parents Bert and Sadie Brooks and his brother John. Also missed by his nieces and nephews, step-mom Ruth and in-laws Daloris, Sandra and Wayne, and friends from the Legion and the Kingston Car Club. Friends will be received at the Central Chapel of the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy) on Tuesday May 27th between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service in Our Chapel on Wednesday May 28th at 11:00 a.m. followed by Cremation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Reception following the service at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #560, Montreal Street.
