JARVIS, Timothy Tyler (Tim) - It is with great sadness that the family of Tim Jarvis announces his untimely passing at King's College Hospital in London, England in his 51st year. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Pauline and his beloved feline friend Serge. Dearly missed by his spouse Leslie, brothers Kit and Tony, sisters-in-law Lee Ann and Judy as well as several nephews and nieces, friends and co- workers. Tim was a Port Boy and a graduate of Lakeport Secondary School (1974), having completed his post- secondary education in Graphic Design at Sheridan College in 1980. A world traveler he settled down in Brixton, England (1983) and began pursing a freelance career in creative package design and retail promotion. At the time of his death, he was employed as a Senior Mac Artworker and creative Artist for Lewis Moberly Plc., a leading design firm in Europe. He received several accolades for his work over the years from clients such as Crabtree and Evelyn, Fortnum and Mason, Beatrix Potter and H.R.H. The Prince of Wales (Highgrove). His credo was “Take it from here; Don't go away when you can take it from here; Why don't you stay and maybe join in the fun now; The show has begun now; Take it from here!; He was an active supporter of several animal welfare groups including the RSPCA, the WWF and the RSPB. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ashton Funeral Services in Brixton with a private family service and cremation at the West Norwood Crematorium, his ashes scattered throughout his quaint English garden. A celebration of Tim's life will be held at a later date in London. If desired, memorial donations made to an animal charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. 11095147
