Martin HUBERT

HUBERT, Martin - It's with fond memories that we announce the passing of Hubert Martin in his 89th year at The Golden Birches Terrace In Blind River. A hard working man who worked in the Labourers Union, Hubert spoke longingly of his days logging and farming. As a young man growing up near the Gaspe Peninsula, he spent many springs making maple syrup and was able to enjoy his passion for gardening well into his 80's. Hubert is predeceased by beloved wife Pierrette (nee Cataford), beloved wife Mary (nee Bouchard) and beloved wife Isola Gauthier. Father to Louis Martin (Micheline) and stepfather to Robert Bazinet (Charmaine), Carmen Bazinet, Jeannine Rosenberg (Bill), the late Richard Cataford (Brenda), Morris Grisdale (Jackie), Doris Pigeon (late Lawrence), Mildred St. Pierre (late Isadore), Joyce Conway (Jerry), Eugene Grisdale (Kathy), Ron Grisdale, late Ralph Grisdale (late Agnes), late Clifford Grisdale (late Dora), late Della Whalen (late Victor) and the late Theodore Grisdale. Will be sadly missed by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special thanks to Nurses and Staff at Golden Birches Terrace for their kindness and loving care. At Hubert's request there will be no service. Private burial of ashes in Holy Sepulchre, Sault Ste. Marie. 11108979
