BAILEY, Helen Elizabeth (nee Brown) - The family of Helen Bailey is sad to announce her death on Monday, May 5, 2008 in her 93rd year. She is reunited at last with Roswell (2000), her beloved husband of 59 years. Helen is survived by her son, Paul, and his wife, Genevieve, of St. Catharines, and by her daughter, Eleanor, and her husband, Peter MacLeod, of Thornhill. She was the cherished grandmother of Eric Bailey of Fremont, California and Andrew MacLeod of Toronto. Helen is survived by her sister Ruth Wilson and her brothers Bill, Arnold (Barbara), and Franklin (Joyce); also survived by her sister- in-law Margaret Brown. She was pre- deceased by brothers Harold, Lloyd and John and by sister Jean Marr; also pre- deceased by sisters-in-law May Brown, Ila Brown, Pearl Brown, Louise Brown, and by brothers-in-law Erie Wilson and Peter Marr. The family will receive friends and family at the PATRICK J. DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 39 Court St. (at King St.), St. Catharines, on Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A celebration of Helen's life will be held in the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill.
