CAIRNS, Ivan Matthew - Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Tuesday, May 13th, 2008 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Millie (nee Dunn) of 66 years of Barrie and formerly of Midhurst. Dear father of Diane Ellsmere and her husband Jim of Bolton and Tom and his wife Pat of Horseshoe Valley. Loving grandfather of Kim (Mike), Kristi (Andy) and Brian (Lisa) and 5 great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by his daughter-in-law Carol, his granddaughter Kelly, his sister Viola Slack and by his brothers Alvin and Douglas. Friends may call at the Jennett Chapel of the McCLELLAND & SLESSOR FUNERAL HOME, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, May 15th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Midhurst Union Cemetery.
