DAVISON, Betty (formerly Young) - Suddenly after a brief illness at the Welland County General Hospital on May 18, 2008 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late Paul Young. Loved and devoted mother of Lori Owen (Dave), Vicky Zwierschke, Kelly Larmour (Craig) and Stan Young (Tina). Cherished grandmother of Ashly and Crystal Owen, Rick Zwierschke, Hope Larmour, Lukus Young and great-grandmother of Leks Owen-Glab. Dear sister of Velma Weir, Chummy Hagen (Audrey) and sister- in-law of Jane McGlashan (Bob). Predeceased by her parents Delbert and Edith Hagen, father-in-law Stan Young, brother Johnny Hagen and sister Helen Nencyzn. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Betty was known by all as a Walmart greeter for many years. Friends are invited to visit the family at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Wednesday, May 21st from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. A celebration of Betty's life will follow at 5:00 pm in the Cudney Chapel. In keeping with Betty's wishes, cremation has taken place. A reception will follow the service at Rice Road Community Church, 305 Rice Road, Welland.
