Retired from A & P, Produce dept. - Peacefully, at Fairhaven Home, Peterborough on Sunday May 25, 2008 in her 86th year. Marj, beloved wife of Mervyn Short for 67 years. Loving mother of Gail Sutton (Edward “Nipper“ Payne), David, Wendy Hughes (Jim), Judy Twomey (Ron), William “Bill“ and Lori. Dear grandmother of Steve Sutton, Joe Sutton (Kathleen), Laura Cranley (Chad), Theresa Trotter (Jamie), Michael Short and Melanie Twomey (Graham). Great-grandmother of Tara, Jessica, David, Will, Amy, Mary and Morgan. Great-Great-grandmother of Heather, Owen and Erica. Sister of the late Grace Henley, Jean Riley and Arthur Williams. Marj will be lovingly remembered by many other relatives and friends. Visiting will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE (356 Rubidge) on Tuesday May 27, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday May 28, 2008 at 1 pm. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay to follow.
