Darrell NURSE

NURSE, Darrell.- Passed away in Whitby, Ontario on Tuesday May 27, 2008 in his 73rd year. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Eleanor (nee Di Stasi) of 47 years. Darrell is also survived by his children Christine Kostuch (Jim) of Ajax, ON, Brian Nurse of Pickering, ON and his grandchildren Matthew, Kristen and Jessica. He was a brother-in-law to Margaret and Bill Crew of Willowdale, ON and Jean Nurse of Moosejaw, SK. Darrell is predeceased by his parents Douglas and Christine Nurse of Yorkton, SK and brother Allan Nurse of Moosejaw, SK. Darrell was born in Grenfell, SK. He served proudly in the Canadian Armed Forces for 25 years and was a Member of The Royal Canadian Legion for over 45 years. He was a passionate fundraiser for the Terry Fox Foundation. A special thank you to the compassionate and caring nurses at Sunnycrest Nursing Home. A memorial service to celebrate Darrell's life will be held at a later date.
