Donovan Alester Purney Donovan Alester Purney of Riverview, NB passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the age of 76. Born in Yarmouth, NS on July 27, 1931, he was the son of the late Willard and Gertrude (Baker) Purney. Don was in retail management for over 25 years. He is survived by his loving family; wife, Doreen (Goldman); two sons, Harry (Sue) of Moncton and Arthur of Riverview; daughter, Lee Ann Lambly of Miramichi; grandchildren, Leah and Evan Purney. Visitation will take place at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (869-2007) on Thursday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The funeral service held at Cobb's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Friday, May 30 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Brent Ham officiating.
