Marlene SMITH

McGREGOR, Marlene (nee Smith). 1940-2008. Our dear Marlene passed away suddenly but peacefully at the Lakeshore General Hospital on May 26, 2008 at the age of sixty-seven. Beloved wife of Fred McGregor, wedded for forty-three blissful years. Devoted and loving mother of Alexandra (Paul), Jennifer (Paul) and Blair (Christine). Cherished Nan to Jonathan and Zachary. She also will be mourned by her brother Ian and her niece Kirsty. As a woman with many passions, Marlene touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity and creativity. As a florist, she was at her happiest when creating bouquets or just tinkering in her beautiful garden at home. She will be greatly and sadly missed but always remembered. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation.
