Kalman PIROS

PIROS, Kalman (Karl) We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of our father, Kalman, November 26, 2007 on the eve of his 75th birthday. Dad was born on December 8, 1932 in Kiraly St. Istvan, Hungary, and immigrated to Canada in 1958. He was predeceased by his parents Maria and Karoly, and niece Irene. He is survived by his children, Monica and Peter, former spouse Carola, daughter-in-law Teodora, son-in-law Brad, and grandsons Austin, Jonah and Magellan. He is also mourned by his brother Gyula, sister Ilona, nieces Eva and Hajnalka, nephew Szilard, and many members of his extended family. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 3 at 11:00 a.m. at First Memorial Funeral Services located at 240 - 17 Avenue S.W., and will be followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his name can be made to the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank, and condolences can be emailed to monicapiros@efirehose.net.Published in the Calgary Herald on 11/30/2007
