ATKINSON, John Warren - Suddenly as the result of an accident went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 25th, 2008. Dearest father and best friend of Erin Kaufman (Craig) of Oakville, Jaclyn of Seoul, South Korea, and Jayson of Castleton. Loving “Papa John“ to Nikka Kaufman. Son of Ambrose and Jo-Ann Atkinson of Warkworth. Cherished brother of Janet Elgie (Eldon), Brian (Suzanne), Sid (Karen), Mary Hewgill (Paul) and Pauline McMillan (Gord). Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Johanna and Jordan, Mason, Garett, Carrie and Tyler, Mark and David, Andrew, Katie and Aaron, Morgon and Emma and Ethan. Remembered by the Saddler family, the Klein family, and his best friend Gerry Hartjes. The family will receive friends at the WALAS FUNERAL HOME, 130 Main St., Brighton, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service from St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Mill Street, Warkworth on Monday, June 30th, 2008 at 1 o'clock.
