Xanthi Zourntos August 17, 1923 - December 22, 2001 Peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday December 22, 2001 at St. Joseph’s Villa, in her 79th year. Predeceased by her husband Zacharias “Jack”. Dear mother of Peter and his wife Anna, John and his wife Rula, Christine and her husband George Hatzis and Nick and his wife Athina. Loved grandmother of Zacharias “Jerry” , Stephanie, Jamie, Alexander, Eva, Christopher, Xanthi, Alex, Xanthi and baby Andoni. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Mrs Zourntos was at the Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home, Robinson Chapel (King St. East at Wellington). Hamilton 905-522-2496 where the family received friends on Sunday evening December 23, 2001 from 7-9 pm. Prayers were held on Sunday at 8 pm. Funeral service will be held at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (22 Head Street ), on Monday December 24 at 11 am followed by interment at Woodland Cemetery.
