Noel GAGNON

Noel Gagnon After a courageous battle with cancer, Noel Gagnon of Bairdsville passed away peacefully at home on June 18, 2008. Born in Drummond, NB on December 25, 1936, he was the son of the late Eugene and Marie (Langlais) Gagnon. Noel leaves behind his daughter Laurine Gagnon of Bairdsville; his sisters, Jeanne Pelletier (Floyd Hussey) of Tillsonburg, ON., Rose Pelletier (Maurice) of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Germaine Bennett (Mark) of Centerville, NB, Rina Snowdon (Albert) of Aurora, ON, Dorothy Pelkey (James) of Aroostook, Delima Micke of Phoenix, AZ; his brothers, Bertrand Gagnon (Yvette) of Aroostook, Nelson Gagnon (Evelyn) of Sombra, ON. Noel was predeceased by his wife, Theresa Gagnon (Dufour) and his brother, Andre Gagnon. Funeral service was held on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 2 pm from St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Father Gilbert Doddatto officiated, assisted by Pastoral Intern Andy Mayer. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. Music for the service was by Marshall Fournier, Lorraine Clark, and Linda Sprague. Selected hymns were "Because He Lives", "The Lord is my Shepherd", "Isaiah 49", "Only a Shadow", and "Beyond the Sunset". Pallbearers were Stephen Bennett, Paula Bennett, Barbara Bennett, Danny Davenport, Leonard Brewer, and Kevin Dunster.
