LOSTRACCO, Marino Lostracco - Passed away at the Welland Hospital on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of the late Silvana Lostracco (nee Rossi) (1979). Dear father of Robert (Patricia), Carla and Mario (Kathy). Loving grandfather of Robin, Rebecca “Nikki”, Brittany, Romtin, Michael and Melissa. He is survived by his sister Anna, brothers Giulio (Maria) and Raffaele (Emilia) and is predeceased by his brother Ezio. He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and companion Lisa Ciarrocca and her family. Marino had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and working in his garden. He was a member of the Italian Alpine Club, Casa Dante Lodge, Canadian Ten Pin Federation and Bowling Leagues in Welland and Niagara Falls. He had a passion for singing and was a member of Coro Club Italia (Folk Choir) and St. Andrew's Church Choir. Marino was a great friend. He will be fondly remembered as a caring, generous person and an excellent wine maker. Family and friends may call at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence 19 Young Street, Welland on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a Vigil will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Parish Community of St. Kevin on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
