MACKLEM, James Vernon - After a long and courageous battle with Diabetes, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2008 surrounded by his family. Dearly loved husband and best friend to Vivian. Devoted father to Laurie, Bob (Darlene), Kathy Glover (Bill), Ross (Diane), Bill (Sue), Norman (Donna), Michael (Shannon). Survived by his brothers Alf, George, his sisters Mae Playford, Grace Remmer (Frank) and Dorothy. Remembered as a father to Vivian's children, Brian (Jackie), Marianne (Rob), Mary Kate, Mary Jo and Timothy (Lindsay). Also by his loving grandchildren and great- grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to call at NIAGARA FUNERAL HOME, 5647 Main Street, Niagara Falls on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 from 12-2 p.m. Followed by service in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow, with private interment at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Niagara Funeral Home.
