Myers, I. Faye Graduate of the University of Toronto, founding member of the Occupational Therapy Unit at Royal Victoria Hospital, active member of Collier Street United Church, Maycourt Club, Ladys Lions and the Barrie Golf and Country Club. Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 with her family by her side. Faye Myers (nee Norris), of Barrie, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Edwin Myers. Loving mother of Jean and her husband Randy of Toronto, Carol and her husband Paul of Guelph, Jim and his wife Judy of Barrie and Marnie and her husband Ian of Toronto. Cherished Nana of 9 grandchildren. Faye is predeceased by her parents Malcolm Mac and Jean (nee Chalmers) Norris, sister Joyce Clarke of London and nephew John Clarke. Survived by her nephew Robert Clarke of Oakville and niece Margaret of London. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes (Clapperton and Worsley Streets), Barrie on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment at Barrie Union Cemetery.
