Eileen Alanna Hackenschmidt (née Pinch) January 07, 1931 - October 15, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Chapel Lawn Funeral Home It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Eileen Hackenschmidt on October 15, 2004. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 49 years, Richard; children, Corey Pinch, Colleen Gillrie (Scott), Gerald Hackenschmidt (Sandra), Katherenna Wijas (John), Johanna Fizzard (Don) and Leona Hayes (Rob). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Eileen was predeceased by her son Terence in 2000. Eileen worked in the food service industry for most of her career where she became known for her buffet displays. Retirement brought out Eileen’s love for her yard, especially for her rose garden. Eileen was always available to anyone who needed someone to talk to. In compliance with Eileen’s wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service will occur on Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens with prayers being said by Pastor Don Engel. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made on Eileen’s behalf to the charity of one’s choice.
