Edward Alvin STRUTT

STRUTT, Edward Alvin (Ted) Passed away peacefully on June 25, 2008 in Nepean, Ontario at the age of 84. Loving husband of 57 years to the late Susan Noreen O'Keefe, Ted is survived by his sons, Mike (Anne) of Columbus, Ohio; Rick (Mary) of Toronto, Ontario, and his grandchildren, Courtney, Cale, Haley, Tyler and Carson. Ted, a native son of Pembroke, Ontario and graduate of Queens University (Science '50 - Mining/Engineering), proudly served in the Royal Canadian Air Force where he spent his happiest years as a pilot, an instructor and, after graduating from the Empire Test Pilot School, a test pilot in association with Canadair. Following his retirement from the Air Force in 1967, he worked for Transport Canada in Ottawa. At Ted's request, there will be no public service. A private family internment will take place later this summer. Special thanks to the staff of the Barrhaven Manor Retirement Residence.
