GERRY, Gordon "Howard" December 25, 1931 - March 10, 2008 Our dear Husband, Dad, and Papa went to sleep on March 10, 2008 in Calgary, Alberta. Born on December 25, 1931 in Wilkie, Saskatchewan, Dad later moved to Brandon, Manitoba where he caught the eye of his "twelfth rose", his wife Mae of fifty-two years. As a man, he was the person that his sons aspire to be; from logger to entrepreneur and businessman, money meant little to him, instead his family meant everything. In life, he taught by example, worked tirelessly for others, and had a naturally endearing personality...he was truly loved by so many people whose lives he touched. The youngest son of a family of nine, "Howie" is survived by his loving wife Mae ("Jon"), his brother Ed, and his sisters Isabel, Thelma, and Eva. He left behind those he loved, children: Tim (KC), Jud (his precious daughter), Dennis (Jen), Marty (Jodie), Kelly (Carly); his grandchildren Brianna (Jamie), Naomi (Ben), Kelsey (Tyson), Josh, Josie, Brendon, Dallas, Rachel, Noah, Dawson and Tyler; his great-grandchildren Gabriella and Levi...and of course, all his other sons and daughters that considered him their Dad. Goodbye "Brown Eyes"...see you soon.
