Erna Jeanne ELLIS

CAVANAGH, Erna November 10, 1947 - March 12, 2008 Erna Jeanne Cavanagh was born November 10, 1947 in Stratford, Ontario. After a valiant battle with lung disease, she passed away at the Oilfields Hospital in Black Diamond, Alberta on March 12, 2008. Erna left home at an early age and worked for General Electric in Peterborough prior to moving to Calgary in 1981. Erna was predeceased by her son Chris in 1999. Erna is survived by her brothers, David (Lynn) and Grant (Joan), sister Catherine and her mother Effie Ellis, special friends Rob and Sandy Heister and a number of nieces and nephews. Thank you to Dr. Dowdall and the staff at Oilfields Hospital, who were so attentive during her stay. There will be an informal gathering for family and friends on March 18, 2008, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at SNODGRASS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 200 Woodgate Road, Okotoks, Alberta.
