Frederick George DAFOE

DAFOE, Frederick George November 11, 1952 - February 28, 2008 We are sad to announce that Fred (Freddie) Dafoe passed away suddenly while on vacation with his father and daughter on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the age of 55 years. Fred will be greatly missed by his wife, Sharon Doherty, daughters: Jessica (Stephen) Smith, Gina Denis, and son Alex Denis, his father Frederick Stanley Dafoe, sisters, Darlene (Allan) Davies and Lenore Dafoe and all his family and friends. Best known for his remarkable musical ability - both in composing and playing acoustic guitar, Fred was an accomplished writer, artist, and loved to explore the countryside on his bicycle. He enjoyed family gatherings - especially the hugs, the games and the laughter. He had a quirky sense of humour which delighted both children and adults. He is now with the Lord and his mother Christina Dafoe in heaven. A "Celebration of Life" Memorial Service will be held at St. James Anglican Church (Fireside Rm), 6351 Ranchview Dr. N.W., Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Published in the Calgary Herald on 3/14/2008
