McKAY, Dolores Eleanor (Talbot) It is with sad hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, Dolores Eleanor (Talbot) McKay at the Newport Harbour Care Center, Calgary, on March 24, 2008 at the age of 65 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Reid (Bertha) McKay, Spruce Grove; Candis McKay (Fred Baumback), Red Deer; Deveron (Brenda) McKay, Clyde; Garry McKay, Stony Plain; Teresa (Ken) Murdock, Niagara Falls, ON; John (Lynn) McKay, Stony Plain; Shad McKay (Lynn), Spruce Grove; Scott McKay, Calgary; JR McKay (Jodi Teilleur), Stony Plain; Kylie (Bill) Wolfram, Calgary; and Kristine McKay (Marcel Roles), Pigeon Lake; thirty-five grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Jim Talbot, Teepee Creek and Russell (Theresa) Talbot, Grande Prairie; and her sisters, Christine McKay, Grande Prairie; Val (Chris) Weiss, Valleyview; and Rhonda (Tustan) Jevne, Texada, BC, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dolores was predeceased by one son Corby in 1998 and her parents. She was an avid musician, seamstress and cook. Her feisty spirit and devotion to her family will be sadly missed by all. As per her request, a Memorial Service will be held at the Stony Plain Legion (4902 - 44 Avenue, Stony Plain, Alberta) on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME and CEMETERY, Calgary.
