John Arthur GRIFFITH

GRIFFITH, John Arthur (Art) - passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 20, 2008. He will be greatly missed by his wife and best friend, Carolynne (Moore) Griffith, his son John and wife Ann Marie (McGugan) of Inwood, and his daughter Amanda (Mandy) Griffith of Port Stanley. Cherished grandfather of Julia, Brett and Katie (BUG) Griffith. He is survived by his sister Joan (Griffith) Maw and her husband Maurice of Wyoming and his brother Barry Griffith and his partner Janet Eskildsen of Inwood. Dear brother-in-law of Beatrice and Wayne Lennan, Bert and Karen Moore, and Don and Kay Moore. Art was passionate about life and farming. He had a sunny optimistic outlook and enjoyed socializing. He loved his family and friends. His passing leaves us with great sorrow. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul's United Church, Petrolia on Friday, July 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Mrs. Jessie Dobbyn officiating. Interment in Saunders Family Cemetery.
