Joyce May Mercedes BURTON

RINTOUL, Joyce May Mercedes (nee BURTON) The family of Joyce Rintoul sadly announces that she passed away peacefully on the 17th of July, 2008 at the age of 80. Joyce is survived by her two sons: Rick D. Rintoul (Beverly) of Edmonton, Alberta and Michael D. Rintoul (Lu) of Tokyo, Japan; two grandsons: Maclean Rintoul and Alistair Rintoul of Edmonton; three nieces: Robin Warrington of Prince George, B.C., Marina Miskow of Canmore, Alberta and Valerie Zimmerman of Red Deer, Alberta. Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Douglas; brother, Victor; father, Frank and mother, Gladys. Joyce enjoyed a long career as a banker with the Royal Bank of Canada for over thirty-seven years, followed by twenty-two years of retirement. A Memorial will be held at the "Garneau United Church", No. 123, 11148 - 84 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2008.
