Gertrude BARR

OLDS, Gertrude (nee Barr) Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Trillium Health Centre on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the age of 96. Gertrude, beloved wife of the late William Olds. Loving mother of the late Judith Ann and son Robert Olds. Dear mother-in-law of Edwin and Joyce B. Reid. Cherished grandmother of Joyce K. and her husband Al Schreiber, Walter T. and his wife Brenda Reid and Colin Scott. Great-grandmother of Allyson and her husband Cory Schreiber, Marcus Zurowsky, Wendy and Joshua Reid and many great-great-grandchildren. Gertrude will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends at Westminster United Church, 4094 Tomken Rd., Mississauga (at Rathburn), on Friday, July 25 from 4 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 3:30 pm. Cremation will follow with an interment of cremated remains in Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Westminster United Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
