OBITUARY GEORGE GRIVAKIS We sorrowfully announce the death of George Grivakis who succumbed to cancer on July 22, 2008 at age sixty-one, after a long and courageous battle. A measure of a man is how he will be remembered. George will always remain in our memories as a loving father, husband, son and brother. A successful film distributor, movie producer, sports car enthusiast and scuba diver, he was a kind and generous man with a zest for life and a wonderful sense of humour. Above all George's greatest love was for his wife Julie (Charbonneau) and his cherished daughter Alexia. He is also survived by his beloved mother Marie, his aunt, Kay Panos, his brother Ernie (Belle), his nieces, Maria Grivakis (Derek Curtis and baby Ethan) and Christina Grivakis (George Staikos), his nephew Harry Grivakis, and a caring extended family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2008 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont (514-279-6540).
