Stella Madeline FENTON

McLEOD, Stella Madeline (nee Fenton) February 19, 1922 - July 24, 2008 Born in Claresholm, Alberta and predeceased in 1982 by her husband of thirty-nine years and best friend, Sidney Francis McLeod, Stella passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Rockyview Hospital. A beloved mother to Kay Bass (Bill), Al (Ruth) and Dave (Kitty) McLeod and grandmother to Shelley Todd (Keith), Chris (Tara), Candice, Holly and Alec McLeod and great-grandmother to Sydney and Amelia Todd. Stella was predeceased by her parents, Victoria and George Fenton and her brothers, Archie, Ken and Hughie. She is survived by her brother Jim Fenton, sister-in-law Doreen (Ken) Fenton and many nieces and nephews. Having lived her entire life in Alberta, Stella's greatest interest was family, and her selflessness and quick sense of humour will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held at FIRST MEMORIAL FUNERAL SERVICES, 240 - 17 Avenue S.W., Calgary on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Calgary, No. 201, 222 - 58 Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta T2H 2S3 or the charity of your choice.
