Mavis RONEY

GLYNN, MAVIS (nee Roney) Passed away peacefully after a prolonged illness at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the age of 86. Mavis was born in Streatham, England in 1921 to the late Herbert and Gladys Roney. Beloved wife of the late Gregory, who passed away in 1979. She was sadly predeceased by her eldest son, Paul in 2005 and is survived by son, Michael (Fay), daughter, Deborah and daughter-in-law Henriette. Mother-in-law of the late Terry Bell and the late Neil Cote. The loving grandmother to her very special grandchildren; Joseph, Janice, Gregory and Eric. Equally proud great-grandmother of Jesse, Laura, Ethan and Brianna. A private family service was held. Donations to the Humane Society of Ottawa. Published in the Ottawa Citizen on 7/31/2008
