MACAULEY, LYLA LEE - By the time you read this I will have departed this vale of tears. My years in Morrisburg were about the happiest and most peaceful of my entire life. Mind you, my passing will not create any void, large or small, in village activities, but, as the song goes, I did it my way. Many thanks to those who were so kind to me up to, and after, my dear Don's death. I appreciated it. So long! It's been good to know you. Peacefully at the Winchester & District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 Lyla Lee Macauley of Morrisburg in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Alfred Macauley who predeceased her on July 18, 1994. Loving youngest sister of Gladys Simpson of Belleville. Very dear aunt of Elaine (Peter) Nelson of Perth and Elizabeth (Bruce) Morrison of Carrying Place, and their families. Predeceased by her parents Margaret Jane Noble and Harry Stillman Parry and one sister, Muriel Sutphen. As Lee had requested, cremation will take place - with a small, private Memorial Service at a later date, in Perth. She had also said that, if you so wish, a donation to the Winchester Hospital in my name would be nice, and will be gratefully acknowledged.
