Herbert LAMONT

LAMONT, Herbert - At home on May 1st, 2008, Herbie was taken from us too soon. Husband of Nancy (Pooler) just 27 days short of their 25th Wedding Anniversary and 5 months short of his 65th birthday. Brother of Alfred (Dianna) Lamont, predeceased by Alice Holditch (May 2005). Father and best friend of Phillip (Debbie), Leslie (Tami), Michelle (Norbert) Klausz, Stephanie (Chris) Kowalski and Trevor. Proud grandpa of Kyle, Tiffany, Brittany, Alesha, Megan, Michael, Sara, Christopher and Joshua. Son-in-law to Shirley and Tom Pooler, brother-in-law to Kathy (Garry) Gallant, Kim (Steve) Long. Herbie worked at Kingsway Transport for 41 years known on CB as “Triple 9”. Herbie was a mechanic for many people but he would have rather been fishing, he always came back with more fish stories than fish HA-HA-HA. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends and Family will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation to follow. A Memorial Celebration of Herbie's life to be announced at a later date.
