LAURIN, Gilles (Gil) - Passed peacefully surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the Henderson General Hospital in Hamilton on Friday May 9th, 2008, in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of 49 years to Rachelle. Loving father to JoAnne(Ghislain) Bellehumeur, and Doug(Rose) Laurin. Cherished Pepere to Elise, Joel, Mikey, and Lucas. Will be sadly missed by many family and friends in Hamilton and North Bay areas. A special thank you to the doctors and staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and the Henderson General Hospital for their wonderful care and support. Visitation at P.X.DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 796 Upper Gage Avenue (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Sunday May 11, 2008, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm with prayers at 8:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Notre Dame du Perpetuel Secours (132 Blake St.) on Monday May 12, 2008, at 11 am.
