DESROSIERS, Sophia - of Chatham, passed away peacefully at the CKHA, Public General Campus, on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Born in Itsuma, Saskatchewan, 82 years ago, daughter of the late Metro Markowski and Anne Yashack. Beloved wife of Roger Des Rosiers, Sadly missed by her children Carol Nash of BC, John Abrosimoff (Julie), Barbara Brown (Randy), Mike Abrosimoff (Micki), Shirley Martin (John Carpenter), Diane DesRosiers, Cheryl Faubert (Mike) all of Chatham, Raymond DesRosiers (Line) of Quebec; 15 grandchildren Terri, Toni, Patti, Johnathon, Dwayne, Jennifer, Stephen, Meaghan, Angela, Vincent, Danielle, Shane, Carshenan, Khoral, Ashahel and 16 great grandchildren; one sister Doris Douglas. Predeceased by two sisters Nellie Kitzul and Mary Maximuck, three brothers Nick, John and Pete Markowski. In keeping with Sophia's wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation.
