LINWOOD, Richard Jr. (Infantry Soldier in Training) - Suddenly at home on Saturday July 12, 2008 at the age of 36. Beloved husband of Cathy. Dear son of Richard Sr. and Joan. Cherished grandson of the late Samuel Linwood, Leona and John Mincheff and Nelda Denneny. Brother of Christopher. Son-in-law of Bill Lutz and Coral Lutz. Brother-in-law of Larry (Gail), Gord (Sue), Sue (Dave) and Mary Jane. Uncle of Nicholas, Damien, Hayley, Jacob, Nathan. Special friend to Sharon. Richard is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Special thanks to Mike and Sandra Delduca, General Gareth Green MKN CD GC StG, Niagara Regional Police Officers, Paramedics, the Canadian Forces and the doctors and nurses at GNGH. Richard's family will receive friends at St. John's Anglican Church (Portage Rd.) on Wednesday from 11:30 - 1:00 followed by a Military Service to celebrate Richard's life. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Grand Priory of the Order of Saint George would be appreciated by the family.
