Dawson MONTGOMERY

MONTGOMERY, Dawson (Doc) - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12th in his 86th year. Husband of Dorothy (2001), he will be sadly missed by daughter Beverly Eldridge (Ted) and son Rick (Linda), six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Dad's service in WWII was in the Royal Canadian Navy and most of his time was spent on a minesweeper in the North Atlantic. Dad was then employed for over forty years in the manufacturing division of the Fuller Brush Company in Hamilton, Burlington, Jamaica and in Kansas. He was instrumental in building the Southern Ontario Rabbit Breeder's Association and introduced the commercial breeding of rabbits to the Jamaican economy. At his request cremation and a private memorial have taken place. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society in his memory. 11167635
