FINNIE, Ernest - It is with deep sadness that the family of Ernie Finnie annouces his peaceful passing on July 14, 2008, in his 84th year. Ernie will be lovingly remembered as the devoted husband of Marianne, dearly loved father of Dale and Jack Robinson, Heather and Stuart Cairnie, brother of David and Adele Finnie,proud grandpa of Jim (Erin) McMahon, Mary-Ellen McMahon, Jodi (Greg) New, Erin (Thies) McMahon, Mark (Heidi) Hambling, Nathan Fisher, Meagan and Elaine Cairnie, and his 6 great grandchildren. Ernie will be sadly missed by his many friends and customers from Ashford's Tea Room in Thorold which he and Marianne owned for the past 11 years,following his retirement from Mutual of Omaha.The Blue Jays will never find a better manager! Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Ernie's life will be announced. 11166317
