CARMICHAEL, Gwendoline Mabel - Peacefully, at the BGH on Friday, July 18, 2008 in her 84th year, Gwendoline Mabel Carmichael (nee Moore). Beloved wife of the late Lorne James Carmichael for 50 years. Much loved mother of Mary Huson (Brian), Wayne Carmichael (Susan), Connie Oldroyd (Dave), Carol Stairs (Floyd), Debbie Merriam, Kathy Costa (Tony), and Bill Carmichael (Bonnie), all of Brantford. Also loved and dearly missed by 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Maurice Moore (Betty), North Bay. Predeceased by sisters Berdene Wall and Jean Thrasher and by brother Jack Moore and by granddaughter Cynthia. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Gwen was a longtime, active, founding member of the New Covenant Christian Fellowship Church. Visitation will be at MCCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Rd. N. on Saturday 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Rev.
