STEPHENSON, Helene Roberta (nee Twining) 1921 - 2008 - Died peacefully at Kelso Pines Lodge, Owen Sound on Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Helen was predeceased by her husband James A. (Jim) Stephenson and her brother Lawrence Twining. Greatly missed and loving mother of Judy Oakey of London, Vicki (Wolf) Slopianka of Edmonton, Alberta and Barry (Joan) Stephenson of Owen Sound. Missed by her brothers Edwin (Audrey) Twining of Dunnville and Russell (Marion) Twining of Hamilton and her sister-in-law Barbara Twining of Owen Sound. Cherished grandmother of Deanna (Scott) Voisin, Taryn (Ben) Roleau, Walter Slopianka, Karl Slopianka, Derek Stephenson, Nicole Stephenson and great grandchildren Rachel and Ben Voisin. A private family service has been held. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara. Memorial contributions in Helen's memory can be made to Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound Auxiliary where Helen volunteered for many years.
