LOADER, Frederick Allan - With great sadness we announce the passing of Frederick Allan Loader on July 24, 2008 in his 72nd year. Cherished friend of Robin, Tom, Matthew and Meghan Waples. Special friend to Irma Yadivisiak, Joseph and Edith Lucchetti and Margaret, Fred, Kathleen, Meg and Mitchell McQueen. Dear brother of Gwen, Shirley, Pat, Lorraine, Val, Muriel, Malcolm and the late Max, and uncle to many nieces and nephews back home in Australia. Fred was born in Adelaide, South Australia and lived in New Zealand and England before settling in Canada. He was an editorial writer and columnist at The Sault Star from 1963 until his semi- retirement in 1997. He continued to write columns weekly and took great pride in doing so. Fred will be greatly missed by those who came to know his kind and gentle spirit, his generosity, and his love of life, learning and people. At Fred's request, there will be no funeral service. However, friends are invited to celebrate Fred's life at a reception Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Bayfront Quality Inn, Room 104.
