Frances Edna CAVIN

LUCAS, Frances Edna (nee Cavin) 1921 2008 - Peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2008 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife of the late John Garfield Lucas. Loving mother of Janet, Marian (John), Karen (Paul) and Ian (Leanne). Proud and caring grandmother of Michael (Sara), Kevin, Meredith (Matt), Ryan, Erica, Chris, Hannah and Adam. Edna enjoyed her many wonderful years of cottaging with family and friends at Lorimer Lake. She was an avid naturalist, traveler, artist and a friend to all. A long time member of First United Church Port Credit, and St. Paul's United Midland and more recently Glen Abbey United Oakville. Edna was a dedicated volunteer at the St. Paul's drop in center and the Wye Marsh in Midland. Visitation will be held at OAKVIEW FUNERAL HOME 56 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr St) Oakville on Tuesday, July 29th from 5 8 pm. A celebration of Edna's life will be held at Glen Abbey United Church 1469 Nottinghill Gate, Oakville on Wednesday, July 30th 2008 at 11am.
