ST. ARNAUD, Mary Ann - Passed away at North Bay on Saturday, July 26, 2008 in her 103 year. Mary Ann was born on May 29, 1906 at North Bay to Margaret Descheno and Arthur Stevens. Predeceased by her loving husband Peter Albert (1961) and all her siblings, Antoinne Couchie, Philemon Couchie, John, Harry and Arthur Stevens and her sister Lucy Pantel. She is survived by her four loving daughters, Florence Richardet (Arthur) and their children Allen, Neil and Gail; Beatrice Richert (Edwin) and their children, Randy, Sandy, and Brad; Alberta (Bertie) MacGillivray (Jack deceased) and their children Kenneth, Judy and Andrew; Merle Randall (Garnet) and their children Melanee, Wendee and Tandee; and her eight great grandchildren. Mother had a strong faith in Jehovah God and his promise to bring this earth back to its original paradise condition, and so she appreciated all his creation and found much joy in her gardens, both flower and vegetable and tended to them well into her nineties. While a resident at Edgewater Apts. she enjoyed her times at Tim Horton's and Wendy's and appreciated the care and concern of staff there and then she would go home to her loved pet Spice. She certainly enjoyed a long and full life. A Memorial Service for Mary will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1120 Premier Rd. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from city hall).
