HUTTY, Arnold Sanford - Peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2008 at the Brantford General Hospital, Arnold Hutty passed from this life in his 81st year. Dearly beloved husband and cherished friend of Shirley (Buchanan). Brother of Verna Kelley and Don (Lori) Hutty. Brother-in-law of Mary (George) McKenzie and Doug (Marilyn) Buchanan. Loved Uncle to Bill (Carolyn) Kelley; Ron (Leanne) Hutty; Cheryl (Rob) Luff; Derek, Melodee, Dan and Marissa Buchanan. Predeceased by his parents Sanford Hutty (1979) and Isabella Hutty (1959); step mother Grace (McHutchion) Hutty (1996); his first wife Dorothy Jean (Oliver) (1966); brother-in-law Ivan Kelley (1980); and sister-in-law Betty Hutty (1999). Born in Paris, Arnold was employed with the Brant Count Board of Education for 28 years as Assistant Purchasing Agent. Following his retirement in 1993, he and Shirley resided in Durham, NC for 5-1/2 years, returning again to Paris in 1999. During the past 9 years, Arnold enjoyed his involvement as a volunteer providing music with his violin and guitar in several Long Term Care and Retirement Communities in Brant County. Friends will be welcomed at the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL FUNERAL HOME, 1105 Rest Acres Road, on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration Service of Arnold's life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday August 2nd at 10:30 a.m. In accordance with Arnold's wishes, cremation will follow the funeral service.
