BALOG, William “Bill“ - It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Bill on August 8, 2008, in his 75th year. He passed away peacefully after a day of fishing, playing and walking on his favorite beach in Long Point, with his grandchildren. Bill was given a tender hug by Lucas and Brooklyn and peacefully drifted away. Beloved father of Matt (Marie), Theresa Pellizzari (Cliff) and Louise Burbine (Eugene). Treasured grandfather of Lucas and Brooklyn Pellizzari. Bill is survived by his siblings, Nick (Kay), Stella (Walter), Jennie McIntyre, Kay King (Jack), Elsie Corbett (Hugh), Mary and Mike. He is predeceased by his twin sister, Helen Brillenger and Annie Botuk (Walter). He was an employee for many years with White Farm Equipment and retired from Fleet-line Products. Bill will be fondly remembered by his entire family and friends at Charlotte Villa. He leaves a legacy of kindness, hard work and positive attitude. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Sunday from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11 am. Cremation to follow. Donations may be made in Bill's memory to Operation Lift or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
