John George COMMANDO

COMMANDO, John George - Sept. 9,1962 - June 10, 2008 - The family announces with sorrow his death after a lengthy illness at his home in St-Thomas On at the age of 46. He leaves behind to mourn his wife Sandra (Hunter) and his much loved son Mathew. John was predeceased by his father George Joseph Commando (2004), his grandmother Alice Hannah Harries (1985), grandfather Joseph L (1998), his uncles and his aunt. He is survived by his mother Salonge Leduc and grandmother Alice Savage, his siblings Anne (Denis) Mousseau from South Porcupine, Kelly Bush (Dave Ralf) from Aylmer, Diane Chorney from London, Sally (Brian) Howie from Mississauge, by step brothers Dwight and Kevin McWhirter, and his extended family the St-Germains of Cochrane On where John would enjoy fishing and hunting. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and by his aunts and uncles. A memorial was held on June 14, 2008 at William Funeral Home in St-Thomas, On. At this time the family would like to extend their condolences and invite his family and friends to celebrate his life and have his ashes placed with his father George Joseph Commando at the McIntosh Springs Cemetery on Sat. Aug 23rd, 2008 at 4:00 pm. Officiating the service will be Father Herve Suave from Cochrane, On. 11198477
