NIKOLAEW, Elisabeth Hedwig - Passed away at Nipissing Manor Nursing Care Center, Monday, August 4, 2008 at the age of 88. Elisabeth (née Dietrich) was the beloved wife of the late Sergei Nikolaew and loved mother of Michael of Nova Scotia and Susan McFarlane of North Bay. She was the dear sister of Hilda Smith.Elisabeth was predeceased by her parents, Hedwig and Johann Dietrich and four brothers, Hans, Irving, Hubert and Alphonse. Family and friends may pay their respects at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Alzheimer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
