John David ENGSTROM

ENGSTROM, John David - Passed away peacefully in the home he loved with his wife and daughter at his side. He was the beloved husband of Irene and father of Cindy and Debbie (Richard Allan). John is survived by his sisters Charlene (Tierry Boyer), Andrea (Ron Leuchter), Elvie, Valarie (Tom Smith), Carrie (Bob Thibault), Karen (Bill Strickland). He was predeceased by his brother Rudy. John was the dear uncle of Jeremie, Sarah, Shane, Tanis, Tyson, Lyndsy, Jason, Teagan, Zackory and Nicholas. From a very young age John loved construction. He worked his entire life as a highway foreman. His second love was his wife Irene. He also owned a bus company. His generous spirit and gentle nature will be missed. He was loved by all. It is impossible to sum up in a paragraph the lives he touched. We were blessed to have had him in our lives, even for such a short time. A friend said, “His good nature shone anytime you looked at the man“. Cremation will be followed by a Memorial Service to be announced at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by his family.
