Antonio FURANO

FURANO, Antonio Peacefully, Monday, August 4th, 2008 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Giovannina (nee Russo) for 62 years. Loving father of Teresa Bossio and the late Giuseppe, and survived by daughter-in-law Carla. Cherished Nonno of Elizabeth (Richard), Tony, Anthony, Joanna and Richard. Great-grandfather to Joseph and Isabella. Predeceased by sister Carmela Buffone, and brothers Cesare, Giuseppe, Francesco and Mario. Dear brother-in-law of Petrina Ianni and the late Ofelia Sacco. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Villa Marconi for their care and kindness. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset Street West (Centretown) on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday at St. Anthony's Church (427 Booth Street) for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Hope Cemetery.
