SMITH, Cecile (nee George) Peacefully with her children by her side, in Ottawa, on August 10, 2008, at the age of 79. Devoted and loving mother of Maureen, James and Robert. Beloved wife of the late James Smith. Cherished sister of Madeleine (Evans) and Edouard. Predeceased by brothers Albert, William and Peter. A heartfelt thank you to all the people who provided loving care to our mother and helped our family during the past six years. Visitation at the J.F. Wilson Funeral Home Yves Legare Alfred Dallaire, 123 Maple Street, Chateauguay, Quebec on Tuesday, August 12 from 2:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 245 MacLeod Street, Chateauguay. Friends in Ottawa may wish to choose to pay their respects at a gathering in Ottawa at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
